Laura McKenzie is an award-winning photographer based in Texas. Her images have been recognized by the Texas Associated Press Managing Editors, the Texas Press Association and the Southern Newspaper Publishers Association. In 2020, after more than 15 years as a photojournalist, Laura made the switch to higher education by joining marketing and communications teams as a staff photographer – first at Texas A&M AgriLife and currently at Texas A&M University.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography from the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
